Sr. Financial Specialist

I’m January Liddell, a proud wife of almost 20 years to a retired veteran and a dedicated mom to two amazing kids—an intelligent, handsome son and a care-free beautiful daughter. My life has been a journey of resilience, growth, and passion, all of which I channel into my work as a Sr. Financial Specialist at 1.oak Financial.

My path into the financial industry was born from a deep desire to protect what matters most—not just for my family but for others striving to secure their future. With four years of experience in the financial services industry and as a licensed insurance agent, I focus on helping individuals explore strategies that consider the changing tax environment as well as consider the impact of market volatility. My approach is guided by values of stability and peace of mind, principles that are especially important for families preparing for the future.

Beyond my professional role, I’ve embraced life’s adventures wholeheartedly. I’ve written “Alina, The Super Saver,” a children’s book inspired by my belief in teaching financial literacy early. I also co-host the Sexy Freedom Media Podcast, where I share stories, insights, and inspiration with a mostly female audience. Helen Edwards and I discuss mindset, growth, stepping out of our comfort zones, we have a resident psychiatrist, Dr Gretchen Gavero, and special guests: doctors, authors, publishers, and more.

In my free time, you’ll find me riding the waves boogie boarding on the east side, cheering my children who play hockey and who are aspiring actors, making unforgettable memories with my 84 year-old aunty, facilitate a women’s connect group, date day/night with my husband, or sharpening my focus at the gun or archery range. I also find solace in the gym, my faith, and the simple joys of family life.

I understand that every family has its own story, challenges, and dreams. That’s why I prioritize connection, communication, and trust in every relationship. My clients’ success isn’t just my goal—it’s my passion. I’m here to make sure you feel confident, empowered, and ready to embrace all that life has to offer.
